Mission Statement

The Cornell Club of Rochester fosters opportunities for education, fellowship, and social interaction for Cornell University alumni, students, and friends, while serving as an ambassador of the University to the greater Rochester area.

Club History

Now in our 2nd century

In 1956 James K. Quigley, MD, Class of 1902, wrote a short history of the Rochester club's early days. His recollections form the basis of this booklet compiled by our club historian on the occassion of our centennial in May of 2004. The booklet includes many rare photos and a timeline of our first one hundred years.

Community Service Projects

Cornell Cares Day

Each January we meet for a day of community service. In previous years a capacity crowd of volunteers of all ages gathered to work at the Rochester Chapter of the American Red Cross. We assembled nearly 400 kits filled with personal hygiene items, which are given to people affected by disasters.

Campus Connections

Cornell Hockey at Rochester Riverside Convention Center

We bring Cornell to Rochester and Rochester to Cornell.
